No Woman Stands Alone: the Delusion

I’m thankful for this woman fighting the fight, but this is a good representation of what living in a delusion looks like. So many just don’t want to see the reality that women with children are struggling alone. Many women don’t have family support. Many single moms lack social inclusion. They’re completely excluded from church environments (the very people who claim to want to help them). Many who are married are even lonelier. Women need more than materials and financial support. They need the connection and stability of a village.

The hard truth is that there may be a lot of media masquerading as support, but there’s no village for these women who choose their children at the cost of everything. I truly believe there are many warm hearts who are passionate about loving their neighbors in this way, but there’s a point where we need to come out of the lies and delusion that what society offers is enough and face the truth. Women choose abortion because they live in a society that pretends to want to help them, but then betrays them by barely offering the bare minimum, a society that then expects them to just deal with it…alone.

Human beings were not made for disconnection. There’s a point where loving intentions need to turn into action and Christlike sacrifice to lay down your activity schedule and your time to become another mom’s support in day-to-day life.

Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. – 1 John 3:18

By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. – John 13:35
