Abortion and the Power of Men

Eve transgressed in the garden when she ate the apple, but God didn’t come looking for Eve. He came looking for Adam. Adam had a divine calling to lead and to relay God’s instructions he received. He was supposed to love and protect her, especially when the devil was tempting and taking advantage of her.

Men were made to protect. Men were made to stand up for the vulnerable. Men were made to be a voice of moral reason, not just run away or go along with emotions. Men were made to disagree in love and take the hit because that is what’s really best for her.

The baby holocaust in this generation demonstrates that men don’t know the fruit of their influence. Oh how many babies would be saved if men knew their power, if men behaved like men and spoke like men and acted like their baby deserved to live! If they rose up to the occasion to fight for her, to live for her, to give their all for her.

If only men knew that when she walks out, she’ll no longer be wearing a brave face. Her conscience won’t be convinced of the many excuses he went along with before. She won’t feel unpregnant, or happy, or free. She’ll desperately begin fighting a secret mental battle, as she strives to believe desperate lies, hoping that one of them will unfasten the new shackles around her heart.

If only men knew her empty womb will be real, and he will have to say goodbye to the old her. She will be gone. Her life will begin a murderer’s lonely wandering through even more destructive paths of emptiness. And he will wish he had stood, he will wish he had known his power before the evil lies of an escape apathetically ignited it to kill. His heart will disintegrate watching the division in hers. She may not tell of her dark sleepless nights doubled over in grief, but his conscience will know that he aided and abetted this mother of a dead child.

The Eve’s of our time are stumbling into the slaughter.

Men, God already gave you the power to stand.

SO STAND.
