Minimizing dangerous behavior didn’t begin in the courtroom. It didn’t begin with abortion clinics or insanity pleas. It began inside religious sectors filled with false patriarchal teachings.
The idolatry that twists God’s design of humility into carnal headship is where toxic empathy began. Religious systems masquerading as churches have been pressuring women to submit to mistreatment and backing demonic abusers for generations, all to protect a false image of marriage.
The fruit of this demonic doctrine is a society that minimizes the value of lives, blameshifts accountability, and cries for justice only when it’s convenient. It’s a society that has followed its moral “leaders.”
God’s Kingdom is not of this world. He opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble. He’s a perfect leader, shepherd, father, and judge, and He demonstrated His loving headship by becoming the least and the last. As the King of Kings, He humbled Himself to servanthood and died for sins He never committed, so that His bride could be delivered from darkness and have a relationship with Him.
The Holy Spirit will follow Christ’s example, not try to twist His love and freedom into narcissistic webs of captivity and oppression.
This nation has become saturated with the woes of innocent bloodshed, but if you want to solve toxic empathy, brothers and sisters, don’t look at the media. Don’t look at the nation. Don’t look at the world.
Stand up, turn away from windy narratives, walk the walk of wisdom, and take a long look in the mirror.
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. – Galatians 5:1
This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. – Matthew 15:8-9
Like a muddied spring or a polluted fountain is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked. – Proverbs 25:26
He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the Lord. – Proverbs 17:15
The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. – Psalm 103:6
Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. – Psalm 82:4
And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds. – 2 Corinthians 11:14-15
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. – Jesus – John 10:10
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true, and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret… Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. – Ephesians 5:6-17
