It minimizes God any time His everlasting covenant is compared to any other temporary pact made here on this earth. God is sovereign, always perfect. His covenant is unchangeable & He is untouchable — the Almighty creator existing outside time and space who is made of unapproachable light.

We love Him and we value relationship with Him, but we have flesh. In ourselves, we are not righteous. We are not timeless. We are not omnipresent, omniscient, or omnipotent. Although our souls live on forever, we are finite. We are not infinite Spirit.

We love Him, obey Him, proclaim the grace, the goodness, and the truth of Him, but how prideful to believe that anything we do as fleshly human beings could truly represent Him.

He is mightier than every bad decision, sin, or failure in our lives. His works are more glorious than anything we could ever do on this earth. Yet, each and every one of His children is still valuable and significant to Him.

He made you.
He knows you.
He came to save you

and He is the only One you can truly count on because His covenant existed before you and lives after you.

His perfect majestic love is eternal; it cannot be broken.

He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen. – 1 Timothy 6:15-16
