I agree that children carry the trauma from abuse in their environment and it’s very damaging. That’s why God’s Word tells us to separate from the darkness, but be careful with these messages that carry threads of hopelessness and not the hope of the Savior.
This trauma is not a life sentence. When Jesus died and resurrected again, He did that to deliver, redeem, and free you from the bondage of sin. He is a transformational God who holds the power that heals trauma no matter where it came from. When you surrender it to Him fully and completely, there is nothing He cannot do.
I know that He does not heal everything in this fallen world, but deciding to hold the belief in your heart and mind that you’re damaged for life is giving the enemy reign and rejecting the faith and hope of the gospel.
Healing comes with seasons of deep suffering and hardship, but don’t believe these lies that you’re bound for life. The devil and false teachings of this world cannot bind you for life when you’re bound for eternal life.
Jesus came to set you free from both evil you have done and evil others have done to you. Do not submit to another yoke of slavery.
Don’t choose to live shackled to chains of the past that Christ already resurrected from the grave to free you from.
