We thought we learned our lessons about human oppression in history class. We thought we’d rise above. We thought we’d be different, but then abortion came rolling in like a relentless storm.
Something we’ve learned yet again is how easy it is to indoctrinate a generation with the confusion of the devil. None of us can boast. We live in a fallen world where darkness is at work. It doesn’t take accountability away from our choices, but we have all believed something at one time or another that wisdom and experience proved to be untrue.
I think we can empathize with women who were indoctrinated with lies leading to abortion. We can’t say it didn’t happen. It did, but the truth is out now, and the season has changed.
They didn’t know, but we know.
It’s time to stop letting empathy give way to leniency while allowing compromise to rule our hearts, and instead, become the protectors and warriors of truth that they didn’t have.
God’s Word has spoken. There’s no excuses. We need to protect the future of this nation from the devastating aftershocks of rebellion.
It’s time to take that next step to criminalize these holocaust war crimes, so that the dehumanization and brutal murder of children won’t happen again in generations to come.
The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. – Acts 17:30
Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. – Proverbs 14:34
Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil. – Ecclesiastes 8:11
Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. – Psalm 82:4
Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. – Proverbs 24:11
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. – Ephesians 5:11-12
