You survived, my friend. God protected you every single day from the enemy in your own home. The devil will use it to try to make you feel mistreated, used, hopeless and worthless, but God has shown you the opposite.
He’s shown you He wraps your anointing in invisible armor. He battles spiritual forces on your behalf, the ones that despise your very presence and want nothing more than to see you gone. He watches over you and goes before you. He sends His angels concerning you. He thwarts the devil’s schemes and devices and holds back his intentions. It could have been quick and easy, but you’ve already lived through countless ruthless attempts on your fragile life because your breath cannot be taken without His permission. Your life is in His hands.
You’ve gone through unrelenting seasons of losing your senses, your sanity, your stability and security. You lost your relationships, your church, your family and community. You lost your health, your stamina, and even yourself.
Maybe your strength and tears ran out, but don’t lose your trust in the only One who sustained you. Living through the depths of darkness and facing death over and over again is exhausting, but it should brew a fire of survival and breed an untouchable fearlessness in you
because in the midst of it, you lost it all. Yet, you have survived the snares of death, my friend. What else could you possibly be afraid of?
O afflicted one, storm-tossed and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in antimony, and lay your foundations with sapphires. I will make your pinnacles of agate, your gates of carbuncles, and all your wall of precious stones. All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. If anyone stirs up strife, it is not from me; whoever stirs up strife with you shall fall because of you. Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose. I have also created the ravager to destroy; no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord. – Isaiah 54:11-17
For the Lord will not forsake his people; he will not abandon his heritage; for justice will return to the righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it. Who rises up for me against the wicked? Who stands up for me against evildoers? If the Lord had not been my help, my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence. When I thought, “My foot slips, your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. – Psalm 94:14-18
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. – Psalm 91:11
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. – Isaiah 41:10
